Amy Finn Family Fundraiser

Donation protected
Amy Finn of Newton, IL, recently suffered a brain bleed and was airlifted to St John's Hospital on Monday, August 27.  She has since been diagnosed with RCVS (Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome).  Amy was initially intubated and had a feeding tube placed.  Just short of a week into her hospitalization, Amy has had her tubes removed and is able to be transferred to a wheelchair.   She  is affected on the left side of the brain, which houses language.  Therefore she is unable to verbalize and her right limbs demonstrate reduced mobility.  However, Amy appears to comprehend language and is going to begin ST, PT and OT soon.

Amy is mother to Hayle and Kyle Mathews, sister to Harold Finn, "Auntie A" to Kenlie and Sophie Finn, Daughter to Janet and Harold Finn.  She is a friend to many, known as "Whammer", who has a big heart and is stubborn, which should help her with the therapy process!

She is office manager at a pediatric therapy center and an advocate for children with special needs, especially Down Syndrome.  She devotes her life to helping others and it is time to help her in return!

As with many situations like this, Amy has a long road of rehabilitation ahead. This does not only impact her, but also her family.  We would like to help raise money to assist with her being off work, her daughter, Hayle being off work to help her mom, and to assist with the ongoing travel and expenses involved.  If you have been blessed to give and see it in your heart to share, please contribute to this family.  It will not go unappreciated!
