Amy B. Czerniec Memorial Fundraiser

Donation protected
My sister-in-law, Amy Czerniec, passed away on January 16, 2024. We have many people asking how they can help my brother, Mark, Amy's husband. I created this fundraiser to help Mark with debt incurred during Amy's health crisis, her cremation costs, and a future Celebration of Life memorial for Amy this April.

When Amy’s cancer returned last April, it was first thought to be migraines. She and my brother Mark started visiting chiropractors and revisiting Amy’s doctors at Froedtert in search of relief.

By May 3, Amy was hospitalized and unable to work, sometimes throwing up seven or eight times a day. Mark drove between Racine and Wauwatosa daily to be with her, leaving little time to pursue his work. Amy filed for disability benefits, but those did not go into effect until December, so the two of them spent about seven months with virtually no income, traveling back and forth for chemo treatments, scans, emergency visits, etc.

Financial contributions made here will be applied to debt accumulated during Amy's long medical ordeal, cremation expenses, and a memorial luncheon for friends and family that will take place in April. I will announce the date, time, and location of the memorial here on GoFundMe and via AmyCz.com once we have arrangements made.

For now, on behalf of my brother and our family, we want to thank you for your contribution.
