Amliz Orellano-Rivera

Amliz is a 17-year-old high school senior at Oviedo High School, member of the NJROTC Drill Team and was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. If you have been around her, you have undoubtedly been met with smiles and hugs from her. At a time when most seniors are thinking of graduation, Amliz will be preparing for surgery and starting chemotherapy this week. Her diagnosis hasn’t damped her bubbly personality as she is determined to live each day to the fullest.

As with most cancer diagnosis, it comes with unexpected costs. The Oviedo High School NJROTC and Booster Club are asking for donations to help offset some of the costs.
