Holiday party for girls at homeless shelter

No child should be homeless. However, many children are through no fault of their own. This year has been particularly difficult for the children who reside at the shelter.  For the past 15 years, I have been the leader of a Girl Scout troop at a shelter for homeless families. Although families are provided with many things, having a choice is not a priority.  For our holiday party, we take the girls to Target where they get to choose whatever they want! We also take them to dinner and provide them with a stocking stuffed with useful and girly items. Your gifts will support this event. Any money not used for the party will help fund the troop with meals and activities throughout the year. Thanks for so many of you that support the girls annually.
