Amelia's Tutoring Fund -Dyslexia

As many of our friends and family have heard, Amelia was recently diagnosed with severe dyslexia.

After struggling through Kindergarten and most of 1st grade we were able to obtain a spot at an excellent organization that specializes in dyslexia. The Blosser Center, located close to our home, has a great reputation for helping struggling readers and writers. They utilize highly skilled tutors who follow the Orton-Gillingham method of instruction- a specific course designed for dyslexics.  (See links below to learn more).

It is anticipated that Amelia will need approximately two years of tutoring to catch up to grade level. Her needs are profound and we are determined to provide this service for her. She is a bright, creative and kind girl and we know she deserves the very best. 

Tutoring  costs $60 per session. 2 sessions per week are required to make progess. Our goal is to raise enough funds to pay for 100 sessions for Amelia (about 1 years' worth of tutoring).  It's a bit of a reach for the stars moment, but we appreciate any and all support for Amelia!
