Ambera's Memorial fund for her kids

Hi, my name is Katie Wilkins.  Many people I grew up with know me as Katie Helbig.  I moved to Andrews, Texas when I was 9 years old and I met my childhood best friend, Ambera Gonzales,  in Mr Tausch’s 4th grade classroom. 

 

Ambera Gonzales – Tuck and I were inseparable all through our school age years!  We have always kept in contact throughout our adult years even though we are miles apart.  We share a birthday, March 12, 1981.  We have NEVER missed a birthday message exchange! 

 

Ambera has been through a lot in her life and has NEVER asked for anything from anybody.  I remember in high school she received the devastating news that she had Rheumatoid Arthritis, but she didn’t let her slow her down.  She ALWAYS has a smile on her face despite the pain she is in on a daily basis.  She loves fiercely and is the BEST mom to her two precious kiddos, Hagen and Audrina. 

 

A couple of weeks ago Ambera had surgery and developed some complications afterwards due to her rheumatoid arthritis.   The complications have caused her liver to fail and she is now being transferred to a liver transplant facility center in San Antonio.  The facility will be equipped with everything she needs and help her in her long road to recovery. 

 

Any donation will be helpful.  All of the money will go directly to helping with Ambera’s medical expenses.   Any donation will be appreciated.  Please continue to pray for Ambera, her precious kiddos, and amazing family.
