Amber & Millys Time together

Amber is a caring (cannot emphasize this word enough), supportive friend, sister and daughter to all of us in this community. Amber works a full time job helping the public with job placements and in her limited spare time, she helps find homes, rescues, and fosters for animals that are critically ill, less adoptable, and need medical attention. This woman has helped not only myself but hundreds of other people in her pursuit to create solutions to these types of issues in the animal communities. At any given time, you will see ambers Facebook and phone flooded with messages and tags asking for assistance. Not once does she ignore someone or not give them the time of day.

Unfortunately today, December 28th, amber received the worst news we as animal lovers/owners can receive. Her sweet Milly, a thriving 5 year old lab has osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that makes it hard for Milly to be comfortable and be as mobile as she was. This diagnosis is a dark one and time is if the essence right now.

If anyone has met Milly, they know she is the spitting image of Amber in dog form. ☺️ She is so adorable, ALWAYS happy, and just wants everyone to feel loved.

I’d really like to make Milly & Ambers time that they have left together a non stressful one. If these funds could go to medications to keep Milly comfortable, to special foods or any other thing she may need, activities Amber can take her to, and final medical costs, I would love to be able to take that burden off of Amber and have our community help her like she has done for so many of us.
