Amazing Wife Needs Kidney Donor

My wife, Annelle is in desperate need of a new kidney.
In early May her doctor told us the results of her annual physical and blood test. Her kidneys are failing, the doctor said, telling us to immediately go to a hospital emergency room.
After staying eight days at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick and getting a second opinion at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, we were definitively told that Annelle has end-stage renal disease, also called end-stage kidney disease. Her kidneys are functioning at 6% right now. The cause of her disease is unknown, though, doctors told us that it may be a combination of renal artery stenosis, reflux nephropathy and partial blockage by her uterus.
Annelle needs a transplant and until she gets one, she will be on dialysis soon, the doctors said.
We thought we found a match when her older brother said he would donate a kidney. But we learned he did not get medically cleared to donate.
Annelle is on the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center’s ACTIVE kidney recipient list as of Monday, Aug. 6. The wait list for a deceased kidney donor is 3-5 years.
Annelle is a hilarious, beautiful, caring, loving step-mother, mom, daughter and friend.
She is the granddaughter of hardworking seamstress who came to the U.S. from the Philippines and saved up enough money to bring her entire family to Jersey City. Annelle grew up in a tiny one-bedroom apartment with her grandparents, parents, three brothers and sister.
Like her grandmother, Annelle takes care of everyone, checking on friends and family. She is always there for them when they need help.
She lives a conservative lifestyle, never smoking or drinking.
