Amari's Tech World Takeover

Donation protected
My parents have always told me that “it takes a village” and so I’m sharing this with you in the hopes that you will all chip in and be a part of my success this year.

As many of you know I’ve been coding since I was about 8 and founded Young Geniuses here in Seattle back in 2009 with my father. As I continue to develop and master my skills in the tech field I have challenged myself by signing up for 3 hackathons in the next 2 months.

In addition to competing in the tech space I’m also a graduating high school in June. (Crazy I know). While I am planning to do a gap year (I’ll tell you all about that in my next video) I have a ton of college apps, essays and school work to complete over the next few months. At this point ur probably wondering, what do I need...

I need a new laptop. The last one I purchased a few years ago died on me and I’ve got a tech world to conquer and no computer. I’ve identified my ideal laptop.

My goal is to get a Dell XPS 13, 8th generation intel core processor, solid state drive, yada yada yada

So far I’ve got $150 of my own to invest and my moms committed to an additional $300. I still need $1500 to make this happen. That might sound like a lot now, but if each of you pitch in, it’s not so bad. Every dollar counts I promise I will make each of you proud and when I win the Hackathons I’ll make sure to thank you publicly.
