Amanda's Treatment Fund

Dear Family and Friends,
We are doing 2 fundraisers for our sister Amanda to help with her recovery from brain surgery. As some of you know Amanda was born with a malformation on her brain stem (cluster of blood vessels), as a result she suffered two strokes, the first stroke in 2012 and the second in 2015. After a 3 month hospitalization (2 months in acute care and 1 month in rehab) Amanda recovered 100% with a lot of hard work, determination and perseverance. Amanda along with her family and physician made the decision to under go surgery and have the malformation removed to avoid potentially having another stroke.
In December of 2015 Amanda underwent a successful brain surgery. She continues to recover at home and doing therapies twice weekly.
Amanda has the opportunity to head to Florida to explore further treatment in hopes of optimizing her recovery. We are hoping to raise some money to help with their expenses.
The first fundraiser we are doing is an epicure fundraiser. We are selling 3 kinds of dip mix for $20.00 each with $5.00 going to Amanda. Each kit comes with 3 different epicure dip mixes, a black epicure bag, and a recipe book.
We also have started a Go Fund Me page for those who would like to help Amanda out but do not want the epicure. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are keeping the fundraising as a late Christmas surprise! Thank you
