Amanda Giglia-Prawdzik “I got this”

Amanda Giglia Prawdzik, dedicated daughter, mother, sister, and friend, had faced Breast Cancer head on in 2011 after being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Amanda at that time underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. In June 2016 just short of being in remission for five years Amanda was diagnosed diagnosed with stage 4 Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer in her bones and lungs.

Amanda has given an unbelievable fight and is not done yet. Unfortunately, she has suffered some setbacks recently. Amanda had a hip replacement two weeks ago after doctors discovered a tumor in her hip. Cancer has also
spread to her liver and her brain. Amanda is currently receiving treatment at Geisinger,
Danville.

These setbacks have caused financial burden. We are asking the Greater Carbondale Community, for their support during this very difficult time. We are trying to alleviate some financial burden so her family can put all of their energy into supporting and caring for Amanda.

Amanda’s Motto is: “I’VE GOT THIS”, and we know with the help of our generous community we can do this!!!
