Amanda Gelso fund

I am a friend and peer of Amanda's. I've known Amanda since she was a baby barista and I've been able to watch her grow into her current role as Store Manager at Starbucks. Ever since I met Amanda I have always viewed her as an incredibly selfless and supportive person and now she is the the one that needs selfless love and support. 
On July 26, 2017 Amanda was attacked and mauled by a dog. She spent countless hours in the ER going under surgery and receiving hundreds of stitches to her neck and face. There are no words to describe how life changing this has been for Amanda and her family. I can't even imagine what she is going through. It will be a long and grueling road to recovery with many plastic surgeries ahead that may lead to a full year. 
I want to show my love and support for Amanda and her family because this truly breaks my heart for someone so kind to be going through this. I started this page so that we can all show our love and support while she is recovering. I want to give Amanda the shoulder to lean on that she so often provides for others. Please consider donating to help Amanda through this difficult time. It is hard to fathom how much her life has been altered but anything we can do to help will lessen the stress and financial  hardship that has been placed on Amanda and her family.
