The Barber Family

My best friend, Briana found out about midway through her pregnancy that her daughter had a very rare heart disease called "tetralogy of fallot" that would require Amaiya to have open heart surgery before her first birthday. The goal was between 4-6 months old.. She was very healthy and had little to no effects really of her condition and the doctors moved the goal to 6-9 months because she was doing so well. Last night she had a very bad spell and stopped breathing... Briana called her heart doctor and they emailed Vanderbuilt to try to sqeeze her surgery in one day this week... They ended up taking her to children's this morning because her doctor wanted to monitor her closely. While at the hospital today she has had a few more spells where she has stopped breathing... The goal for surgery has now been moved to Wednesday. Briana and Mo were not expecting this all to happen this fast.. Mo just started a new job and funds are kinda tight at the moment with all this stuff going on.

I, along with Briana, Mo and the rest of our family will be forever grateful for anything, & if nothing else please pray for this sweet family. They need all the prayers they can get.
