Alyssa's Journey to YWAM

On January 7th, 2021 I will be officially stepping into a new season in my life and moving to Kona, Hawaii.
God has placed a special calling over my life that I have accepted, and Youth With a Mission (YWAM) is what He has put in my path to get me to where I am called. In the Discipleship Training School (DTS) within YWAM, I will be learning more about God and growing a more intimate relationship with Him during the lecture phase. Once this lecture phase is completed, I will be heading to an outreach location that I will know once I’m there.
There is a strong possibility that I will not be able to travel internationally for my outreach phase due to the pandemic. This is not what I originally had in mind when applying to YWAM in March of this year, but God continuously reminds me that His plan is always perfect, and wherever I end up is exactly where He wants me.
The proceeds from this GoFundMe will finance the lecture phase of my DTS. If you are not able to help now, there will be another opportunity to sponsor me coming in the next 4-5 months that will go toward my outreach phase. I would greatly appreciate it if you share the link to this page and keep me in your prayers.
I am extremely excited to begin this new chapter in my life, and in expectancy to see God move in ways I’ve never experienced before. I am eager to see what God will do in me and through me as I enter this new season.
