Alyssa Frost Debut EP

Hi friends!

First off, thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page. I realize the goal is a whopping $7500, and it seems incredibly daunting. But before I get into the funding, how about I tell you a little about myself?

I've been writing songs since I learned how to form sentences. Whether I'm singing what I'm doing, like Jess from New Girl, or sitting with my guitar in my room, writing has always come naturally to me.  Around 4 or 5 years ago, I was in the process of recording my debut EP, but it fell through. Those songs were left in the past and my love for songwriting was covered up with a fear of failure. Fast forward four years, when I found myself living in Australia. After many years of fear and self-doubt, I found myself going back to my songwriting roots. What started there sparked something in me that hasn't stopped. Once I got back home, I recorded a cover of City of Stars from La La Land, which has over 200,000 hits on SoundCloud . I've written a catolog of songs that has been narrowed down to 5 - perfect for my debut EP. I feel so liberated and humbled to even have the opportunity to record my own songs, and I hope you'll come along on the journey with me. 

FUNDING: I realize that $7,500 is a lot of money. Like, wow.  To even reach a fraction of this goal would be encouraging. If you choose to donate, know that no matter how much you donate I will be so grateful. All of the money is going into the recording, producing, mixing, and mastering of this EP.  Any surplus of money will be put into creating more content for you, supplying incentives, and marketing of this album. Any incentives that could be mailed to you will be ordered closer to the release date. Our goal is to release the full EP in Spring 2018. 

Whether I see you every day or I haven't seen you in years, I would love for you to be a part of this journey with me. I couldn't do this without you, so even if you can't donate, I need people supporting and rooting for me along the way so feel free share this with your friends and family!
