Please help me stay in college
Hello world, my name is Joshua Yorke-Frazer, and I am doing everything I can to fulfill my dream of obtaining a degree in sports management and becoming a sports agent or professional basketball player. As you probably already know, it's not easy for any college student these days with limited means; however I am committed to my dream and could use your grace and kindness so I can make a bigger contribution in the world.
A little bit about me - I am 23 years old and originally from Toronto Ontario Canada. I have a proud Caribbean heritage (mom is Jamaican; dad is from Barbados). As you may imagine, a strong Caribbean work ethic and sense of ambition was instilled in me from an early age. However, due to financial constraints, I've had to put my college dreams on hold while I pursued opportunities to make a decent living. Growing up was tough, yet I survived and through the efforts of wonderful people who have supported me, I made it to St. Augustine University. My family is so proud of me and it would mean a lot to honor the people who have cheered me on thus far by raising $ 6,500 to pay off this year's tuition and set in motion opportunities to obtain an athletic scholarship in 2019.
I greatly appreciate pledges of any amount, no matter how big or small, plus your willingness to share with video with friends or others who may be interested in supporting my efforts. In exchange, I promise to keep a high GPA & inform everyone who contributes my school progress. I remained humbled yet determined, so thank you for your time and well wishes.
