Without in-person school this fall, parents throughout the DC region will keep struggling to balance caring for their children with doing their jobs. The Lane + Flex Academies is putting together alternate child care options for the fall that will help to supplement virtual learning with in-person socialization, enrichment, play, and tutoring.
We would like to make sure everyone in the community has access to care, but we need your help. Without in-person care, our most vulnerable will slide backward academically and economically. Parents are being forced to choose between caring for their children or feeding them. We can’t let that happen.
Please join us in lifting up families throughout the DMV. A gift of $330 will provide a family with a full week of safe and enriching childcare. Together, we can spare children from severe and long lasting adverse effects of the pandemic.
