Support JCPS Student Alston De Leon

Alston De Leon, a 4th grade student at Breckinridge-Franklin Elementary, has been battling childhood cancer since 2017. On August 11, 2020, Alston's family received the devastating news that he had relapsed.  Alston has been fighting ever since, just like the strong willed warrior his family and teachers have always known him to be.  

After numerous chemo treatments and doctors appointments, he and his family have made the difficult decision to end all treatment so that he can spend time with his family and enjoy being a kid. Alston is soaking up special moments with his mom, Billie, who is enjoying quality time with her little warrior. They are busy making family memories, and allowing Alston to focus on being his goofy, kind, playful self.

Although we cannot relieve the emotional burden that Alston and his family are experiencing, we hope to provide financial support so that Alston will get the funeral and celebration of life that he deserves. Alston does not have life insurance, so every contribution will help Alston and his family tremendously. Thank you for your support and prayers.
