A.L.S Won't beat Tom

In November 2017, a day before Thanksgiving my best friend and the love of my life Thomas Worhach received the devastating news, he was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig Disease).Symptoms started 2 years prior to diagnose. Many doctors and specialist were consulted but ALS is a hard to diagnose disease. ALS is taking Tom’s ability to walk, breath, eat and talk.ALS is a neurodegenerative terminal disease where the nerve cells that control your muscles die. There is no treatment or cure.We are devastated but will fight every step of the way to help Tom in his path.Comforting and assisting him in all his daily needs.Very little is known about ALS and insurances put so many obstacles in an already difficult situation. ALS patients need 24 hour caregivers, and this is not covered by any insurances.For those who don’t know Tom, he is the warmest and kindest man in earth and his smile brightens who ever knows him. He dedicated his life to be a Pastry Chef, one of the best in the country and to create beautiful memories with his beloved family. He is passionate about sports and he was an amazing athlete in his younger days.The cost of medical care and equipment as well as house accommodations to help Tom live with ALS is tremendous therefore all the money raised will go directly to Tom’s health needs.Please consider helping Tom in this difficult battle and also help bring awareness of ALS to the world.WE NEED A CURE FOR ALS!In the name of Tom Worhach and all the other ones that love him, THANK YOU!
