Asociación ALMA - "Help the Animals!"

A matter close to my heart is the "Asociación ALMA - Rescate Animal", a non-profit organisation from Spain that rescues animals in the Hondón Valley (Alicante), cares for them and tries to find them new homes. ALMA is financed by donations of all kinds. All of the money goes to the welfare of the animals, to feed them and to pay for their foster homes and veterinary costs. Of course, the donations are not enough to cover all the costs. Especially the vet costs are high and hardly manageable.
Every day ALMA finds stray animals on the street. Looking away is not an option. I myself have been following this organisation for years, adopting dogs and cats, fostering animals when possible and seeing the tireless work of the volunteers. And that's why I want to help the animals of ALMA with this fund.

Un asunto que me toca de cerca es la "Asociación ALMA - Rescate Animal", una organización sin ánimo de lucro de España que rescata animales en Hondón y alrededores, los cuida e intenta encontrarles un nuevo hogar. ALMA se financia con donaciones de todo tipo. Todo el dinero se destina al bienestar de los animales, a alimentarlos y a pagar sus casas de acogida y los gastos veterinarios. Por supuesto, las donaciones no son suficientes para cubrir todos los gastos. Especialmente los gastos veterinarios son elevados y difícilmente asumibles.
Seit einigen Jahren verfolge ich die Arbeit der "Asociación ALMA - Rescate Animal", eine kleine non-profit Organisation aus Spanien, die im Hondón Valley (Alicante) Tiere rettet, sie versorgt und versucht für die Fellnasen ein neues Zuhause zu finden. ALMA finanziert sich über Spenden jeglicher Art. Die Erlöse gehen ausschliesslich an das Wohl der Tiere - um sie zu füttern und um Unterkünfte und Tierarztkosten zu bezahlen. Natürlich reichen die Spenden nicht um alle Kosten decken zu können. Insbesondere die Tierarztkosten sind hoch und kaum zu bewältigen.
Jeden Tag erreichen ALMA neue Streuner die in Not sind. Wegsehen ist niemals eine Option.
Ich selber nehme wenn möglich Tiere zur Pflege, fahre mit ins Valley, halte neuerdings die Website up-to-date und sehe die unermüdliche Arbeit der anderen Freiwilligen. Und deswegen möchte ich den Tieren von ALMA mit diesem Fonds helfen und bitte Euch um Eure Hilfe.

Todos los días ALMA encuentra animales vagabundos en la calle. Mirar hacia otro lado no es una opción. Yo misma sigo esta organización desde hace años, adoptando perros y gatos, acogiendo animales cuando es posible y viendo el incansable trabajo de los voluntarios. Y por eso me gustaría ayudar a los animales de ALMA con tus donaciones. Cada euro cuenta.
