Alma Dance Academy- Industry Hardship
Donation protected
Alma Dance Academy of NJ was considered non-essential by the state of New Jersey, and due to the Covid-19 and we were told to close our dance space on March 23, 2020
Our teachers, teacher apprenticeship program for high school seniors, our ballet examination participants, our performance competition team , our toddler dance program and our 25+ classes a week came to an abrupt halt and has affected our community greatly.
To continue to bring the joy of dance to our community, to allow creative artistic space for our students, to guarantee jobs to our 1099 employees and keep our doors open as a small , family run business , we need your help.
Although we are doing our best with our own efforts, your donations will help keep us going!
We also understand that many families are struggling keeping their dancers in class, so we will be using a portion these donations to help these families. Their success stories will be highlighted in our Instagram account @AlmaDanceNJ
As an organization, we are also offering FREE DANCE CLASSES via ZOOM to children of Nurses, Doctors, Fire, Emt and Police departments as well as essential employees until August 1, 2020
We understand its a challenging time for all but appreciate any support, love and positivity
especially from our community and fellow creatives in the dance industry!
Thank you,
Alma Dance Academy of NJ
