Allyssa's Breast Cancer Battle
Donation protected
On Friday, August 21st, Allyssa went in for a breast exam, because she felt a lump in her left breast. The next day, they brought her in for a mammogram; they found 9 masses and quickly scheduled a biopsy for that coming Monday. On Wednesday, August 26th, Allyssa was diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade III breast cancer. It’s been a whirlwind since that day with, MRI/bone/CT scans, meeting with fertility doctors, oncologists and also countless blood work. On September 14th, she began 18 weeks of intense chemotherapy treatment (one treatment every 3 weeks for over 4 hours), which will be followed by surgery to remove any remaining lumps or she may require a mastectomy. Allyssa is only 31 and has so much of her life ahead of her.
This shocking diagnosis has flipped her entire world upside down and she is now facing a very long, painful and exhausting road ahead. We want try to and alleviate some of her financial stress by setting up this page.
There is no donation too small. If you are unable to donate, please share her story.
We appreciate all the love and support and will be forever grateful for any donation. She is one strong girl and we know she will get through this.
