Allison's Thriving w/Cancer Fund

On June 13, 2018, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Mucosal Melanoma that has metastasized.  My doctors told me that without radical surgery and aggressive treatment, I have 7-12months to live.  I just can't wrap my head around this surgery- I was told surgery would be so radical that the quality of my life would be "morbid" and full of physical pain and that my life expectancy will be less than 5 years as its likely that the cancer will return and my options would be limited when the cancer returned.  After collaboration and weeks of contemplation, my doctors decided that surgery isn't the best option for me

I have started immunotherapy which is the standard of care for melanoma that is inoperable.  Additionally, as a family we have radically changed our diet and lifestyle in hopes of healing beyond medical intervention additionally, we hope to prevent cancer or other diseases for the entire family.  

I am starting a Go-Fund me page to ask for donations towards my healing journey as a mother who needs help to pay bills and provide/contribute to my family's future.  Your generosity will help us buy healthy food, pay for daily living expenses, and enroll Liam in programs and activities that connect him to his community and build a bright future.
