Allie Nelson Memorial Bench

On October 4, 2021 a cherished member of our community passed away at 17 years old.  Allie Nelson was a senior at Chariho High School and loved by everyone who knew her.  She was extremely creative, always expressing herself and the words she couldn’t find through her drawings and paintings.  She enjoyed skating, surfing, and spending time with her friends, especially in nature.  She accomplished remarkable things throughout her wrestling career, including numerous state, regional, and national titles in both mens and women’s wrestling.

 

Allie always made time for everyone in her life that she loved and cared for, you could count on her.   She always put others before herself, and was wholeheartedly willing to do anything for her loved ones.  She always seemed to be at peace with her world and knew what was truly important.  She had such a unique and pure soul that only knew how to spread love and positivity.  She made it a point to talk to every single person in all of her classes.  Allie made an impact on so many people.

 

We are raising funds to memorialize this beloved member of our community through an engraved granite bench. Allie’s bench will be located in one of her favorite local spots.

 

A portion of the proceeds will go towards the production of apparel inspired by her art and style.

 

Any profits or additional funds will go towards Bradleys safe quest program, per the families request.

 

We are dedicated to keeping Allie Nelson’s spirit alive forever.
