Allens final goodbye

Donation protected
So, it is with a heavy heart that I have to write this. 'Our Allen' lost his long and hard fought battle to recover from heart surgery, after contracting covid-19 whilst receiving rehab in BAGH. After a short stay in ITU in Darlington, his children and family spoke with doctors via telephone, and were informed that his fight was at an end.  Allen's beloved family had to say their goodbyes via video call as visiting is not allowed. Such heart breaking times after he had fought so gallantly and come so far. Their heartbreak is only magnified due to the lockdown rules meaning they are unable to console each other, together, as families normally would. And so they must some how organise and pay for Allen's final journey home. His amazing family and children of which he was so immensely proud, are hoping to give him the best they can in these difficult and painful times. I know you all loved Allen. Everyone who met him smiled. He was the life and soul of the party and would talk the hind legs of a donkey. Scooter, camper, a kids mad with the biggest and most caring of hearts. So I'm here to ask you for your help. For us to show Al's kids and family how much we all loved him and cared for him and how very sorely he is going to be missed by us all. By helping them make his final journey home the best they can give so they don't have to worry about the cost involved.  I've spoken to his boys and paige and they are happy for me to set up this page. Any donation will be appreciated. We loved you Allen, I hope you are watching over us all Xx
