All-Church Basketball Reunion 2019

We're planning a reunion, celebrating 50 years since the Cincinnati First Ward won the All-Church Basketball tournament. We won the division, beating out 31 other teams in the "Ensign" division, and we also took home the sportsmanship award, and our guard Mel Fish won the Most Valuable Player award.

We're using the reunion as a chance to invite all those who were associated with the church in Cincinnati in the late 1960s to get together. We need to do it in 2019, because we may not all be around when we reach the 75th anniversary.

We'll meet on Saturday, March 16, 2019, and we definitely want you to come.

The reunion will be in Salt Lake City, at the Riverside Stake Center gym, where we played on Tuesday, March 11, 1969. (We won that game against a team from the Phoenix 16th Ward.)

If you can come, we'd like you to contribute to the cause. We suggest a contribution of $20 per adult. If you can give more, please do. If you can't afford the contribution, come anyway...we want to see you again.
If there are funds left over, we'll contribute the extra to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
