As you all know, Ben Damsgaard, was struck by a car on Saturday, September 5th and airlifted to University of Maryland Shock Trauma by Medivac where he remains in the Neuro ICU unit. Ben suffered a very severe traumatic brain injury but only minor injuries from the neck down. He remains in a medically induced coma and will for some time until his swelling subsides. This will be a long journey for Ben and his family and the extent of his recovery may not be known for many months. We would love to use this website as a daily update on Ben's condition but right now that would not be feasible. I look forward to the day when they can give you daily or weekly updates on his condition. The outpouring of love and support for Ben and his family has been amazing and a huge source of comfort.
