Life has unexpected costs. We have set up this account as a way to show our support and care, hoping to minimize some of the many challenges the Frunza family is facing now and will have to face in the near future.
Delia Frunza was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer nearly six years ago. Since then, she has undergone numerous rounds of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, but just recently her prognosis took a turn for the worse.
She has attempted every form of treatment including experimental therapies. Over the years, the cancer spread to her liver, uterus, cervix, pancreas, stomach, and lung.
Under these circumstances, neither Delia or her husband are able to work.
In a time when privacy is very much appreciated, we know that help in this way will go towards whatever they need, while still allowing the family to focus on the many stressors that accompany this difficult time.
Each of us have been positively impacted by the Frunza family in so many ways. This fund is being run by very close friends of Delia’s daughter Maura—Becca Dalke and Rhonda Kennedy—who assure you that all donations will be sent directly to the family. We specify this so that you all know the fund is legitimate, and there are real people who have created it with financial safety in mind for the donors.
