On July 13th, 2020 - With a heavy heart and after over a a decade in a half fighting Cancer, the world lost one of the best people it will ever know. “Z” Zeremy Uptegrove (or as Z would like to remind everyone - its just Jeremy with a Z) -

Artist, poet, marijuana activist, club owner, philosopher - Jack of ALL trades and King of none. All of his friends would like to help out his amazing girlfriend Abby for being by his side during the most difficult times over the years.

Abby nursed him back to health so many times - they traveled the world together and shared his last moments and she was by his side the entire time.

We are all special in our own ways, but for those of us whom had the incredible opportunity to know Z, everyone would say the same thing. Not one mean bone in his body, all “Zen” all the time.

Abby is in charge of his expenses, and needs a little love from his friends and loved ones. Given the current world disarray, we know its tough to ask and Z would not like this part one bit. Do what you can to help out Abby for his last “Rave”, if you cannot give financially, send us a story, your favorite one.

Abby, none of us can really comprehend how much you have done for him and in turn for us, You gave him the best years of his life. Thank you is not good enough, but for now its all we have. So on behalf of the hundreds / thousands of people Z touched in his life, thank you for everything, more importantly thank you for loving him as much as you do.

For myself, all I can personally say, you never once wavered in your friendship, I shall miss you terribly and thank you for the two decades of crazy beautiful memories.

In the great words of Modesto - “I will never die”, and YOU my most revered hippy friend, will never die, all of us will make sure of that. Your memory will live on.

Rest in peace you big old incredible lovable Hippy.
