Oli’s Angels Inc. is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation recognized in the state of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support services to low-income or at-risk families before, during, and after any pregnancy experience.
Our mission was birthed from loss. Founder, Brandy Rawls' son, Oliver (Oli) Rawls, was stillborn on Christmas day of 2010. Since his death she has served the Pittsburgh area as a certified birth and bereavement doula. She has seen many women suffer loss through pregnancy and childbirth. Our mission aims to provide the support that may be seen as preventative care for these families.
Since February of 2017 we have served 15 women in the Pittsburgh area offering comprehensive servies, including prenatal, post partum, birth, and bereavment.
We need your help. In order to provide these services to the under-served population in our communities we need support and partnership from allies.
Additionally, money raised through this fundraiser will be put towards our operational costs. These costs include: direct client service hours,continued education for our staff and board members, marketing materials, and expanding our paid staff to better serve our mothers. We also have an exciting opportunity to occupy a very meaningful office space at a low, monthly cost.
