All For Ella
Donation protected
Ella, has been through a lot since April 2nd. A femoral fracture of her left leg has lead to her next chapter of her story, a bone marrow transplant. Ella has an extremely rare genetic bone condition called osteopetrosis. It can come in many forms and variations, with Ella’s still being studied. One of the complications from this condition is a bone marrow failure, which is leading her to a bone marrow transplant at Sick Kids in Toronto over the coming weeks. She and her family so thankful to have supportive families, friends and co-workers who have helped us out so far and continue to do so daily.
Also, we would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the nurses and doctors in both emergency and paediatrics at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the nurses, doctors, and support staff at the IWK Children's Hospital and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation. These people do a fantastic job daily of supporting our family and others.
Please support Ella and her family during this difficult time.
