All About Shane

Shane is a sweet and innocent 5 year-old little boy who loves to play with his older sister, play video games, run outside and just have fun.  A few weeks ago, he began to complain of headaches, neck hurting and would vomit suddenly.  soon, his symptoms began to worsen so he was taken to the hospital and a tumor was found in his brain.  His parents had less than 14 hours notice from being informed there was a  cancerous tumor in his brain to an 8-hour surgery and their life being put into upheaval. 

The doctors were fortunately able to remove 100% of the tumor but he will still have to continue with radiation and chemotherapy to ensure it does not return.  He has been diagnosed with medullablastoma and will have to undergo radiation 5x/week for about six weeks and then chemo for another six months.  His family is struggling to make ends meet (one income) as well as take care of both their children and take care of the mounting medical bills. 

This family needs assistance in being able to pay rent, get transportation to and from Shane's treatment as well as ensure their daughter is taken care of.
