Alize Webber

Barely hours into what should have been a grand celebration, on July 4, 2017, Alize Webber was shot six times.  Instead of celebrating her 21st birthday, she was struggling to stay alive.  Unfortunately, her boyfriend did not survive this senseless act of violence and died at the crime scene.  However, Alize is still fighting every day to overcome this horrific event.  Alize suffered gunshots to her head, back and other body parts leaving her in critical condition.  While she is making strides everyday, there are still so many hurdles to overcome.  

Alize is a Sacramento High School class of 2014 graduate.  She was one of the first mentees of Voice of the Youth.  She attended CSUB and was aspiring to become a nurse.  Those who truly know Alize, would describe her as a happy young lady.  A stranger can look at her photos and see from her smile that she was full of life.  She had her own apartment and car which she was independently maintaining. Alize was doing her best at being a young adult until the countless gunshots sprayed her vehicle.   

Unfortunately being an adult doesn't stop while fighting for her life in a hospital bed.  There are still bills due every month and medical expenses that may arise as a result of this act of violence.  Family and Friends, your help is needed to help keep Alize's life obligations fulfilled while she focuses on fully recovering from this tragic moment.  Her family should only be focused on Alize's road to recovery; nothing else.  

Alize's mother, Victoria, describes her as a fighter and God's Warrior.  Mother's know their children best.  Her family has faith that Alize will recover from her injuries.  Your donation will help relieve the impact of this tragic event.
