Our names are Gayle and Courtney and we are creating this go fund me on behalf of our best friend Alison Burns Greenberg.
In February 2018, at 38 years old, Alison received the devastating diagnosis of Acute Leukemia (ALL). She has been in for the fight of her life since. She has endured multiple rounds of extensive chemotherapy, many invasive transfusions, spinal taps, and bone marrow biopsies. These procedures and multiple hospital stays have inhibited her ability to work. Through this process, Alison had the continued support of her husband Mike and daughters Alexis and Olivia, who stayed by her side during her countless hospital stays.
Alison has just completed a Bone Marrow Transplant and has been released from the hospital after a month stay. She is well on her way to recovery and early signs show that the transplant was a success. She will continue to be out of work while she recovers and continues treatment on a weekly basis to support her weakened immune system.
Alison is a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She is an amazingly generous person with a huge heart. She is always there for anyone who needs her, but never expects anything in return.
The support of her family and friends mean the world to her. Everyone's love and support is an essential piece in her recovery. Any donations will help alleviate the financial burden caused by all the medical bills and medications that she will continue to receive.
