Alicia J Family's Muslide Fund

My name is Margarita Martin del Campo and I have lived in Santa Barbara, CA for the past 29 years. I started this GoFundMe page on behalf of my friend Alicia Journey, a single mother of two, ages 11 and 6. They lived in an apartment on Jameson Lane and were evacuated by search and rescue due to the devastating mudslide. They are alive which is the most important thing but they have a long road ahead of them. Their home was affected and their car, a total loss, washed up on Butterfly Beach.

Alicia, her children, and dog fled Santa Barbara and are staying in an office space that has been lent to them in San Diego, CA. They currently have no money and no clothes other than ones they evacuated with.

Alicia and her family, like many of the victims, need the support of our community right now. She is an impressive attorney who created the nonprofit, Beyond the Bruises, to help survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Her life is dedicated to helping others and giving back to her community.

Donations will go to buying everyday essentials, food, clothing, and shoes, as well as finding a new place to live, sending the children back to school, and buying a new computer to start working as soon as possible.
