Alice Gordon Trust Fund

On July 29, 2017 we tragically lost our dear friend and teammate Sarah Tolton following a difficult and hard-fought battle with breast cancer.  Sarah left behind many heartbroken family and friends, but none so special as her loving partner Alan Gordon and precious daughter Alice, now aged six.  Everyone who knew Sarah also knew that one of her favourite places to be was on the ice playing the game she loved, so as Sarah’s friends, teammates and members of the Leaside Curling Club community, we are seeking to raise funds to establish a trust fund for Alice in Sarah’s memory.  It is our hope that this fund will provide a foundation of support as well as a lasting legacy to her mother as Alice grows up.

A memorial pin created in Sarah’s memory is available to individuals from the Leaside Curling Club community who contribute a minimum of $10 to the trust fund online.  Once you have made your donation, you are welcome to pick up a pin from the display near the club office/pro shop (while supplies last).  Please only take one pin per donation as quantities are limited.  Special thanks to LCC members Rick Sinhuber for the production of the pins and Gary Taugher for the design.
