Aliayah Lunsford Scholarship

Aliayah Lunsford was murdered by her mother and then reported missing on September 24, 2011.  It took 5 years for her siblings to feel safe enough to talk about what really happened to Aliayah.  As a result of her siblings telling her story, their mother was arrested in 2016 and found guilty of her murder in April 2018.   We are the adoptive parents of Aliayah's five siblings and started the Aliayah Lunsford Foundation in order to raise money for a memorial scholarship.  This will allow us to tell Aliayah's story to ensure that she will never be forgotten.   It will also allow us to support foster,  adoptive, and children of law enforcement who are college-bound in the memory of Aliayah Lunsford.
