Alfred "Mr Fred" Jimenez Funeral and Memorial

For those lucky enough to be blessed to have met Fred, know that he was the most caring, giving, and fun loving person you could ever meet. Just being in his presence made you feel good about yourself and he never failed to put a smile on your face no matter what you were going through.

After having a full rewarding career he felt called again to serve children with special needs and intellectual and behavioral disabilities. Fred worked as an Instructional Assistant at Stinson Middle School and then Brandeis High School in the specialized instruction classrooms. He was loved and cherished by the students and every person he worked with.

Unfortunately, Fred was taken from us after sustaining a head injury while performing his duties as an Instructional Assistant.

This tragic loss has shaken the community. His passing is felt by every student, parent, teacher, colleague and the countless friends that Fred made with his mere presence.

We are offering this gofundme as an opportunity to support Fred's family as they arrange his funeral and are forced to continue without his irreplaceable and abiding presence. We are also hoping that with the extra funds we can start a memorial scholarship to honor Fred's memory and continue his work helping those in need.
