Alex's Medical & Reconstructive Relief Fund

Hi Everyone,

Alex is currently undergoing treatment for triple negative Breast Cancer. This requires aggressive Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and then surgery plus reconstructive surgery. If this is not tough in itself, she has a beautiful baby Girl 'Ava' of which she had to stop breastfeeding to commence treatment. Being a first time mum dealing with a little one and juggling appointments and treatment with little downtime makes her a hero in my opinion.

With a massive decision on her hand to undergo a double mastectomy (which potentially may or possibly not be covered) to give her the best chance of long term health, whilst being off work for a long time now due to COVID and now extending further due to her health (even when the borders open to fully). In order to recover fully and look after her family, I would dearly love to take the financial stress away so she can focus on treatment and her recovery. Stress can affect our health more than is ever appreciated.

Alex has always been a highly active, bright and kind person and a great friend. Those who have worked hard and been there for others deserves some kindness in return. Please assist me in making life a little easier as she has a long road a head.

After starting this page Alex would like everyone to know that if any funds are not utilised, that she will be donating them to some of the charities that have been immensely helpful to her. This way more families can also benefit from your generosity.
