Alex's International Service Trip

Hello beautiful friends and family! I am so excited to share that I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic this summer in order to serve women who have been rescued from human trafficking as well as other impoverished members of the Dominican Republic community. I will be spending one week in Santo Domingo and one week in Santiago. As many of you already know my passion in life is service and learning from the wonderful individuals that I have the pleasure of sharing life with. I am excited to educate myself on the social determinants of health and welfare across the globe. I hope that this experience will be impactful in my goals to make a difference in something bigger than myself. This service opportunity is provided through the study abroad program at Mizzou. The cost of the 2-week program includes airfare, housing, and Mizzou's International Program fees.  Your aid in helping me achieve this goal would mean the world to me.
