Alexis's service dog journey

Donation protected
Alexis is a 12 year old little girl who is just filled with smiles and laughter. She always has a smile on her face, one that just lights up the room when she walks in.Alexis has so many big ideas and dreams, that she let's nothing get her down. She carries a lot of faith and hope, for such a little girl.Alexis is having to fight battles everyday with the medical problems that she faces,to which their is no cure for in her situation. She was diagnosed with Polymicrogyria,Microcephaly,Septo Optic dysplasia of the brain,Epilepsy,Growth hormone deficit,Chromosome abnormalities and micro regurgetation (heart defect). She was born this way and we never knew it,she always seemed like a normal healthy little girl.Until about 3 years ago when she started having seziures. We took her in and had her checked out. After all the test that they done on her, they had called us to give us the news.We were shocked,we couldn't believe it was really. After 10 years of raising a child, and then you find out that she has severe medical issues. We were devastated to find that there is no cure for what she has,we couldn't clean it up and just stick a band aid on it.It hurt us knowing that as parents their was nothing to do to make it go away.Since then alexis had experienced liver failure and her kidneys stopped working. But with a lot of prayers, faith and hope, she miracously recovered from it by a miracle.Alexis is in need of a service dog to help assist  with her medical conditions, mostly her Epilepsy. The dog will be trained to assist her while she is having a seziure,by laying over here to keep her safe from hurting herself. He will also be trained to go get an adult for help by barking. He will beable to retrieve her medicine if need to be and to push a button to dial for emergency assistance if need to be.This will be something that will stay with her 24/7 where ever she is at.It will help her to be able to gain self confidence and help give us a little piece of mind at night. Please help us raise the money to be able to provide our daughter with a service dog that will help her in her every day routines.
