Medical Cannibis Costs

Alexandra is a sweet, smiling, sparkling 17 year old girl with quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy. Alex was born with CP and has been a fighter since day one.
She has had Spinal fusion surgery to correct severe scoliosis a Tracheal diversion,  has Epilepsy, Gland Ligation and a year ago a baclofen pump surgery that was unsuccessful to assist with her tone and pain.  We are wanting to try to start Alex on Medical Cannibis Oil to help relieve some of her pain and muscle spasms.  We hear that for many people it is a miracle that they have been looking for in the fight to help live a more normal and productive life.  
How ever great the effects of trying CBD oil, our family is not able to afford the $ 414 monthly cost out of pocket for her treatment.  Insurance companies are not allowed to cover the costs even if they may be cheaper than a prescription pharmaceutical because it is against federal law.  We would like to start her treatments sooner rather than later, but we will need some help.   Her dosing will cost $13.80 per day and unless we can do at least 3 months worth of treatments we do not want to start her on the CBD oil.

If you are able to contribute in any way, our family and Alex thank you. If you aren't, please write a letter or email your Representative or Senator and ask them to legislate for the Federal Gov't to allow insurance companies to cover the costs of this life changing medicine.
