This medical fund has been created and is being managed by FishHawk Soccer Club to help Alex Abadi and his family. Below is more information that was issued by Club President on 4/27/2015. Thank you to everyone for your overwhelming outpouring of support.
Hello FishHawk SC Families!
Sunday morning, one of our dedicated directors and overall awesome soccer families experienced tragedy. Coach Jamal Abadi and his wife Jennifer, found themselves rushing their 5-year old son, Alex, to the emergency room with what they thought might be an appendicitis. To their shock and dismay, they were told that their son actually had a tumor attached to one of his kidney's. Alex has been diagnosed with "Wilms Childhood Cancer." They have also found it in one of his lungs. This is a really tough time for our Abadi family. Alex will be going into surgery tomorrow morning to remove his right kidney with the tumor attached. They will also prepare him for Chemotherapy.
Please take a moment to say a prayer and think of them as they go through this journey with Alex. The Abadi's are so grateful to be part of such an awesome community! We will keep you updated on Alex's progress, as we are updated. We will certainly help Alex and his family in anyway they need us. The Abadi's have been greatly dedicated to our soccer family and we are certainly dedicated to them!
