Alex Trancoso's Pancreatitis Fund

My brother Alex was officially diagnosed with pancreatitis in April of 2017.  He has had multiple bouts since, and has been hospitalized at least 8 times just this year since April.  In between hospitalizations, Alex has bouts of continuous vomiting, is not able to eat or drink much (he had to have a feeding tube placed), has severe abdominal pain, and has periodic migraines and seizures (he had to be taken off of his Depakote due to the pancreatitis).
Due to the rarity of pediatric pancreatitis, my brother receives the majority of his treatment and is hospitalized in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Children's Pancreas Care Center with Dr. Tom Lin.
My Mom is the type of person that never says no to anyone in need; however, will not ever ask for help for herself or our family.  She is attempting to raise us 4 boys (I am attending college next year), work, and care for my brother and all of his medical needs (he is also Autistic and Epileptic).  My step-dad works constantly and rarely even sleeps.  Due to my brother's bouts of pancreatitis and multiple hospitalizations and specialist visits out of town, my mom misses work frequently, and often for weeks at a time.  Her employer is wonderful and understanding; however, the lack of income is taking its toll on my mom, and my step-dad is working himself to death.
My brother has a surgery scheduled next week to remove a stent from his pancreatic duct, but due to his most recent bout of continuous vomiting and abdominal pain, there is a possibility that he will be hospitalized sooner.  This means my mom will miss more work (he has already been hospitalized twice in August), will have to travel to Cincinnati, and will get further behind in bills.  I am working extra hours at Sonic and Notre Dame to help make up for it, my grandma is dipping into her retirement savings to help, and my step-dad is working extra, but I know how stressful this is on everyone and am hoping that just like my mom is always so willing to give anyone the shirt off her back, others will do the same for her.
Please help my mom help Alex.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
