Alex the miracle kid

Jan 8 our lives changed forever. Every mother’s worst nightmare. “Your son was hit by a car”.......”your son is being sent to Saint John for immediate brain surgery”...... “your son may not make it, his injuries are very very serious”. 

MY SON IS A WARRIOR!!!  Not only did he survive but he’s crushing it!!!

Alex has a very long road ahead of him and as a single mother of 4.... I’m drowning!!!

I’m blessed beyond all measure because the boy that made me a mom is still here... but it’s not the same child I’ve known for 18 years. I’m grieving and celebrating in perfect harmony. It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before. 

To ask for help is completely humiliating but I will bow down and admit that I need help. Mykids need help. 

 I’m here with my son.... for 32 days straight now with no income. I’m the only one that’s been by his side day in and day out. My other kids miss us but they understand that we must all make sacrifices. 

This  will be a very long road. We are just beginning this journey. 

Unfortunately a fundraiser was set up in the beginning but his step mother was the beneficiary as it was her friend that set it up. That site was shut down fairly quickly once I realized what was going on. 

The details aren’t necessary as I only want to focus on the positive. My son is alive!!!!!
