Hello,
My name is Alexandria Armock and I am a Sophomore at Aquinas College. I am raising money to study abroad in Iceland for a week in Spring 2019. While in Iceland I will be taking a 3 credit History and Geography of Iceland course while traveling to Reykjavík & the Hvolsvöllur area. I have never studied abroad or even been out of the country before and I am anxiously waiting for my departure day. I am a Health Science Major in the route of Pre-Physician Assistant and minoring in Developmental Psychology. I am working at Spectrum Health through Helix Scribes Solutions as a Medical Scribe currently and am working very hard to achieve my future goals. One of my goals in life is to become a Physician's Assistant specializing in Pediatrics. Another goal I have is to travel around the world as much as I can, and to visit as many National Parks as possible. Being a Pre-PA full-time student, it is hard to find time to study abroad for an entire semester and stay on track to graduate in four years. This trip is allowing me to achieve one of my goals of traveling, while getting three credits towards graduation, without taking me off track. I hope by studying abroad for this one week I can really emerge in the culture of Iceland, while learning about the history of how they lived and how they live now. My goal is to reach 2,000 to help cover some of the cost of my trip. Every donation is appreciated and prayers are welcomed, as I take on this new adventure.
