Alex Novak

Friends & Family, on Saturday Alex Novak suffered from an Aortic Dissection. His wife rushed him to Gundersen La Crosse, from there he was Med flighted to Mayo Rochester. Then Al went through an extensive heart surgery that night, lasting into the early Sunday morning hours.

This is the beginning of a long road of recovery and further treatments. He will not be able to return to work for sometime.

Alex has been a hard working Carpenter as well the FD Chief of Ferryville, He has a loving wife and stepson (Jennifer and Noah).

Al loves to work with his hands and to be constantly on the move so this transition will be difficult for him. Al also loves helping his community and will be there for people day and night and not being able to help temporarily will also be a struggle. This condition was sudden and not predictable since he was very healthy. Al will be working with therapy and many doctors appointments in the following months.
