Alex Greig Recovery and Rehabilitation fund
Alex has always been a family man that loves life and always wanting to live it to its fullest. He has always showed a great love for his kids and allowing them to follow their passions. Alex enjoyed driving his children around and getting them to their activities. including making himself available to coach his son Jett’s soccer team.
At the moment Alex is facing a long road to recovery after his life was turned upside down, after being involved in a tragic car accident on Thursday 8th July 2021. This car accident has also claimed the life of his beautiful wife Jessica, his daughter Giselle and leaving daughter Paris in a serious condition and Daughter and Son Oceana and Jett with minor injuries.
Alex was Airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital (RBWH) and was in a critical condition for 2 weeks. Now 3 weeks later he is now out of ICU in a stable condition, but he is faced with significant brain injury , and will be a long road ahead, with rehabilitation and ongoing support required.
I am Alex’s Mother and I am setting this up on Alex’s behalf so that he can have the rehabilitation and care he needs to allow him to again be a dad to his kids .. His dream would be to again make a joyful childhood for his lovely children, Paris, Brooklyn (Son who was not involved in accident), Jett and Oceanna. I have already been blessed by people’s prayer and support in this time of tragedy, but any money donated will go directly to helping cover the cost of Alex’s extensive recovery and rehabilitation.
I live in Tasmania, I have spent the last 2 weeks beside Alex straight after the accident, (as much as the hospital allowed me to), and will be regularly travelling to visit him as much as he needs and border restrictions allow.
