Alex Shishko - Lost to Cancer

Dear friends and family,

Our family is suffering with the loss of our dear beloved Alex.

In May of 2022, Alex was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer - Leiomyosarcoma. Since then he went through many treatments with a disciplined will and optimistic spirit. Unfortunately, his health began severely declining over the past month. He was in and out of the hospital and became very weak as the doctors discovered the cancer spread to his lungs.

While his suffering increased, we prayed for a miracle. However, the Lord decided to call him home on August 28th, 2023 while surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves behind his young wife Katya and two children, one of whom needs constant medical attention. Alex and Katya’s youngest son, Alex Jr., was born prematurely and had to immediately undergo multiple surgeries, resulting in the removal of most of his small intestine. To this day, Alex Jr. is in need of constant medical attention and weekly or daily hospital visits.

Not all hospital bills have been covered by the insurance.

We ask that you join us in our grief and prayerfully consider supporting Katya, their daughter Anna, and their son Alex Jr.

Дорогие друзья и родные,

Наша семья переживает тяжелую утрату - ушёл из жизни наш дорогой, любимый Саша.

В мае 2022 года у Саши был поставлен диагноз редкого и агрессивного вида рака - лейомиосаркома. С тех пор он прошёл множество лечений с настойчивой волей и оптимистическим духом. К сожалению, его здоровье резко ухудшилось за последний месяц. Саша часто посещал больницу и его состояние стало очень слабым. Врачи обнаружили сильное распространение рака в его легких.

Пока его страдания усиливались, мы молились о чуде. Однако Господь решил призвать его к себе 28 августа 2023 года. Он отошел в вечность будучи окружен семьёй и друзьями.

Он оставил свою молодую жену Катю и двоих детей, один из которых требует постоянного медицинского внимания. Самый младший сын Саши и Кати, Саша младший, с рождения страдал от тяжёлого заболевания, требующего частых еженедельных посещений больницы.

Не все расходы на лечение были покрыты страховкой.

Мы просим вас разделить наш горе и финансого поддержать Катю, их дочь Аню и сына Сашу-младшего.
