Hi, I’m Alejandra Hernandez and I’m raising money in aid of Mudchute Association and every donation will help.

This year I managed to get a place on the London Marathon after years of applying for, this will be my second marathon and my first World Major Marathon.

This Marathon means lots for me, being able to run it after a fissure spine injury and after lots of canceled events due to COVID circumstances.

I moved to London 3 years ago from Mexico, newly arrived I was amazed to find such a wonderful place as Mudchute on my doorstep. I first came to Mudchute as a volunteer and after a month,

I managed to become the administrator for the Children's Services.

Like so many others, I have benefited so much from my involvement with the Mudchute. Being away from home, the Mudchute community has become part of my family.

I am running the Marathon as a personal achievement and because I really love running, but also hoping to raise funding that will help to sustain the many wonderful services that Mudchute provides for the community. And to thank the Mudchute staff and Management for all the support and encouragement that they have provide for me while working at Mudchute.
